Services
CBT offers a number of services to practitioners within the Community Transport world. We will advise on original research; project development and initiation; operational and budgetary monitoring; on-going evaluation and development.
Consultancy
CBT is offering consultancy born from years of experience in this sector. Examples of projects may include:
• The organisation of a Demand Responsive Transport booking centre with all attendant facilities.
• Consultancy on individual travel plans.
• The development of a transport system within tourist organisations with subsequent promotion to Hotel Groups and Visitors.
• Structured Market Research studies.
• Marketing and PR.
Management Services
The world of Community Transport is populated by micro organisations. CBT has considerable experience in providing services to these operators. It can target its expertise to these small companies where administrative time is often at a premium because the hands-on operational requirements are the prime focus.
We can offer
• The planning and management of transport information services for both consumer and operator.
• Staff management services to include administration, recruitment and training.
Booking Centre
The Booking Centre currently serves a number of demand responsive transport (DRT) schemes.
The Buzzard, North Shropshire Link, the 49 Link, and the 'Night Owl' service all receive bookings via this centre.
If you would like to find out more about how your community transport service could use our Booking Centre facilities please call us on 01584 876662
Other services
It may be that you need to gain awareness of real-life experiences of running DRT schemes or you may need someone to give a talk.
We have knowledge of other community transport operatives, both locally and nationally and are actively involved in the country’s community transport network.
